Glynnie has been in the restaurant industry for more than 30 years. Originally training in Australia and then moving to NZ - Queenstown. Working at Arrowtown’s famous Saffron, Matakauri Lodge, Mahu Whenua, The Lindis & Paulina' Glynnie experience is unrivalled. Since going out on her own she finds herself regularly working film jobs, and her favourite as a personal, private chef.

Her aim is to seek and embrace local, foraged, seasonal food to create something truely amazing. Her style is to let the produce shine by limiting age and processes, leaving you with a fresh, delicious dining experience. 

Delicious Food started by Glynnie doing cooking demos at her mother in law’s in Glenorchy, it has grown due to word of mouth to a very successful catering business, the name came from the most frequently heard word that clients would use to describe her food...delicious....!

We had Glynnie and her team at our recent wedding at Lookout Lodge. We ended up finding Delicious Cooking by default as our actual caterer was unable to fulfil our booking due to unforeseen circumstances. Glynnie's food was amazing, all our guests raved about it. Another comment was Glyn "the chef" walked around asking guests how the food was. Everyone thought both food and service was one of the best and for 79 people that's exactly what we wanted to hear.
